His journey brought him to Magic Carpet Studios, a prestigious animation studio in Nigeria, where he played a pivotal role in crafting captivating short films such as "Surprise: A Christmas Story," "Papilo," "Sip," and "Legends of Bulan."

Notably, Chimezie is not only an animator but also a dedicated educator. Serving as the lead instructor for Magic Lab, the educational arm of Magic Carpet Studios, he has passionately imparted animation knowledge to aspiring talents. Over the course of three years, Chimezie has successfully trained and mentored over 100 individuals in the art and techniques of animation.
